Humi Launches Business Insurance to All-In-One Platform

Humi, a Canadian provider for HR, payroll, and benefits software, announced its newest product launch: Humi Business Insurance. Humi’s latest product offering integrates into the platform’s all-in-one ecosystem to offer commercial insurance policies that are more accessible for Canadian businesses.

Business insurance is a requirement for most Canadian businesses, where it protects companies against unexpected events such as professional negligence, workplace injuries, product liability, and theft. Humi is the first business insurance provider in the country, according to the company, to simplify commercial insurance by connecting it with the rest of a company’s core system of record.

Consero Global Acquires BridgeView CFO Solutions

Consero Global LLC, a provider in finance as a service (FaaS), announced that it has acquired BridgeView CFO Solutions, a San Francisco-based finance and accounting, HR, and business management firm. The combined company will have more than 800 employees serving more than 150 clients nationwide and around the world.

According to the company, the acquisition expands Consero’s suite of solutions to include HR and payroll services for its existing client base of institutional backed companies. The deal will also allow Consero to deliver its FaaS platform to BridgeView’s portfolio of financial services organizations.

“Not only will BridgeView’s expertise and solutions complement and expand our offerings to clients, but as a combined firm, we’ll be able to reach even more mid-level companies that need professionalized finance and accounting support,” said Scott Tynes, CEO of Consero.

Ceridian Completes Acquisition of Ascender

Ceridian, a global provider in human capital management (HCM) technology, announced it has completed the acquisition of Ascender HCM Pty Limited, a leading HR and payroll solutions provider in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region.

Ascender provides more than 1,200 global brands with HR and payroll capabilities. With this acquisition, according to the company, Ceridian will have the opportunity to deliver additional value to Ascender’s customers through the Dayforce platform’s full-suite HCM capabilities, including workforce management, payroll, talent management, and time and attendance. Ceridian will now serve a combined 1,500 customers and 2.5 million employees across 30 countries in the APJ region.
