CloudPay Raises $50 Million, Reports Growth as Payroll Evolution Continues

CloudPay, a provider in global pay solutions, has raised a new round of $50 million capital while recording strong growth as demand for cloud-based integrated global payroll and payments services continues.

The funds raised were led by Runway Growth Capital and The Olayan Group, which will support CloudPay’s continued innovation of its end-to-end enterprise global pay offering, meeting the need for integrated payroll and payments services as well as employee solutions. CloudPay processes 2.5 million payslips annually worldwide and, as a result, recently welcomed its 1,000th employee.

“It’s an exciting time for the payroll world,” said Paul Bartlett, CloudPay CEO. “As a profession that’s historically been quite set in its ways, we’re seeing a shift as demand grows for global and scalable solutions underpinned by powerful technology. Payroll has traditionally ended at the payslip, but over 90% of our new business now includes payments services in addition to payroll processing.”

UKG Helps Footwear Innovator Crocs, Inc. Unify Global People Operations

UKG, a provider of HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions, announced that Crocs, Inc., a world provider in innovative casual footwear, is unifying workforce operations across its global enterprise with UKG technology.

Crocs, Inc. sells shoes in more than 85 countries and employs more than 6,000 people at retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate locations in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America (EMEALA), and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. The company launched UKG Dimensions as its global workforce management solution for advanced scheduling, forecasting, and timekeeping to support its people and long-term growth plan. Since going live, one of the biggest benefits to Crocs, Inc., according to the company, has been the ability to access Dimensions from any location worldwide—on any device—and get visibility into key labor data from a centralized location. Mobile accessibility allows employees to view their schedules and swap shifts, so they can better plan their life and work responsibilities.

“As our business expands, we need to be able to scale our global cloud platforms,” said Doug Goehl, Vice President of Global Enterprise Applications at Crocs, Inc. “Historically, most of our regions operated independently of one another in the sense that they relied on manual processes or homegrown solutions for their workforce management needs. It was difficult to view data across networks and understand where our efficiencies were, and it became clear we needed a global platform to best support our business and our people.”
