Ryan Named a Best Employer in Canada Again

Ryan, a global tax services and software provider with offices in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Ontario, has been named a Platinum employer in the 2019 Aon Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada study for the sixth consecutive year. Companies recognized at the Platinum level scored in the top 25% among all employers surveyed across Canada.

The study is based on a 2018 survey from more than 200,000 employees across 240 Canadian businesses. Emphasizing a culture of inclusiveness and collaboration, according to the company, Ryan has helped employees achieve work-life success while delivering outstanding client service and accomplishing the goals of the firm.

“This honor goes to our terrific employees throughout Canada,” said Ryan President of Canadian Operations Garry Round. “To receive this recognition six years in a row speaks clearly to the outstanding contributions our Ryan professionals make daily to our firm and clients. I sincerely thank them for their ongoing efforts to make Ryan one of the best employers in Canada.”

Ramco Systems Chosen by Opteon Solutions to Digitize Payroll

Ramco Systems, a global cloud enterprise software provider, has been chosen by Opteon Solutions, an international provider of property valuation and advisory services based in Australia and New Zealand, to digitize the company’s payroll operations.

Ramco will implement its Single Touch Payroll-enabled suite, which, according to the company, comes with user-friendly modules that streamline functions such as calculation of salary, increments and incentives, retroactive pay, country-specific statutory compliance, and tax reporting.

Ramco Systems CEO Virender Aggarwal said the company’s award-winning payroll software will integrate with Workday HR and feature innovative elements such as artificial intelligence to prevent data processing errors.

“While payroll is seen as an operational task, it is one of the most complex and highly error-prone activities that significantly impacts employee morale,” Aggarwal said. “We are glad to add yet another leading business, Opteon Solutions, as our client. In both these organizations as well as many others across Asia and Australia, the combination of Workday HR and Ramco Payroll is being seen as a beneficial technology stack by clients.”
