GPMI Launches First-Ever Career Center for Job Seekers, Employers

By Scott Wilson, CAE, PMP

Some people make finding a new job or getting serious about their careers a New Year’s resolution, so the Global Payroll Management Institute (GPMI) has made that goal easier to achieve for global payroll professionals. The GPMI is excited to announce the launch of its first-ever career center.

The GPMI Career Center is a one-stop shop for job seekers and employers with tools and resources to support both as they search for new employment or look to fill an open position.

The career center provides job seekers with access to job postings and alerts that are specifically curated for global payroll professionals. But there’s more. Job seekers can also research roles within their profession, receive résumé feedback, or upload multiple versions of their résumé. The career center includes a resource section that provides résumé writing tips, interviewing assistance, aid in career advancement, as well as access to career coaching. The career center has been designed to support a job seeker at all levels of their career and aid them in taking the next step to finding a position in the industry.

The career center allows employers the opportunity to post open positions at their companies. Employers can also access a résumé bank to search out potential candidates acting as their own recruiter or review skillsets of job seekers in roles they want to create. The backend provides the ability to create templates for communicating with candidates, to create job postings, and to prescreen applicants with filters. Once employers find potential candidates, they can save and manage the job seeker records to proactively create a virtual bench of potential new employees.

“The GPMI Career Center is a game changer for the entire global payroll profession,” said Dan Maddux, President of the Global Payroll Management Institute. “While there are many job boards out there, none have the additional resources for career planning and advancement, or to support the employers, in a single location.”

Whether you are serious about looking for a new role in global payroll, casually exploring career possibilities within global payroll, or you’re looking to fill a key role within your company, the GPMI Career Center will support your endeavors.

Stay tuned for more announcements from GPMI to help you grow—personally and professionally!
