Tricor Acquires Alphalink, Strengthens Mainland China Business

Tricor Group, Asia’s leading business expansion specialist providing integrated business, corporate, investor, human resources, payroll, and debt services, announced an agreement to acquire Alphalink (majority-owned by RSM Hong Kong partners), a diversified corporate services company that serves international enterprises in Greater China and handles global outbound business and investment for Chinese companies.

Alphalink, which services over 850 clients across Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, will enhance its existing client relationships by providing access to Tricor’s comprehensive suite of solutions and global footprint.

Ryan Expands Presence in Canada, Acquires AEC Property Tax

Ryan, a global tax services and software provider, announced it has acquired AEC Property Tax Inc., Canada’s largest privately owned property tax consulting firm, and its subsidiaries. This acquisition expands Ryan’s market position, client portfolio, and depth of client service capabilities in Canada.

According to Ryan’s President of Canadian Operations Garry Round, bringing AEC into the Ryan family will pave the way for expansion of the two firms’ combined services and provide career opportunities for all employees.

“As the largest property tax practice in North America, we are enhancing our existing capabilities and firm talent across all major markets in Canada,” Round said. “This acquisition positions our two companies to become a single resource to multinational clients with challenges in other areas of taxation, regardless of the jurisdiction.”
