Immedis Develops iConnect for Multinational Complexity

Immedis, a global-payroll technology company, has developed a platform—iConnect—that can help companies overcome the complicated arena of global tax and payroll requirements through a number of ways. These include robotic process automation (RPA), which conducts repetitive, cyclical, and time-consuming payroll tasks, such as collecting and inputting data, as well as verifying the payroll each month. This action, according to the company, can save organizations up to two days of work.

Immedis Global Marketing Director Khalifa Butler said that because payroll and taxes vary from country to country, Immedis’ expertise ensures that users of iConnect are compliant in a wealth of jurisdictions.

“Looking at payroll from a tax perspective to ensure everything remains compliant and each country is adhering to local legislation is what complicates matters,” Butler said. “Technology can’t do that alone. Human intervention is needed to make it work.”
