Andersen Global Strengthens Puerto Rico With Tax, Legal Services

Andersen Global, an international association of legally separate, independent member firms comprised of tax and legal professionals around the world, adds to its platform in Puerto Rico with the addition of collaborating firm AFS CPA Group LLC (AFS), solidifying its presence in the country with tax and legal coverage.

AFS provides tax and advisory services to clients including individuals and small and large businesses, serving a variety of industries such as legal, medical, food and restaurants, apparel, marketing, technology, non-profit, and homeowners associations. The firm is based in Gurabo and offers tax, financial, investment, and cash management services, as well as outsourcing and payroll functions.

UKG Ranked 7th on Australia’s Best Workplaces List

UKG, a global provider of human capital management (HCM), payroll, HR service delivery, and workforce management solutions (WFM), announced it ranked No. 7 on Australia’s Best Workplaces 2021 list by Great Places to Work, in the Medium Company (100-999 employees) category for the country. UKG’s 2021 ranking is an increase from the previous rating when they were ranked No. 12 in Australia last year.

UKG has more than 250 employees across Australia and New Zealand, serving 3.5 million users of UKG solutions in the region. According to the Trust Index survey administered, 90% of UKG employees in Australia consider UKG a great place to work, compared with 55% of employees at a typical Australia-based company.

Factorial Closes a Series B Funding Round With $80 Million

Factorial, a Barcelona-based HR software company that streamlines people management, has closed an $80-million Series B funding round led by Tiger Global Management. With participation from previous investors, such as CRV, the total funding amount increases to $100 million.

Factorial, which serves thousands of clients in more than 65 countries, has been ranked among the Top 10 most promising startups in Europe. With the new funds, Factorial will expand to new markets, opening offices in the U.S. and Brazil.
