Ceridian Names New Chief Human Resources Officer

Ceridian, a global human capital management (HCM) technology company, announced that Susan Tohyama has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Tohyama comes to Ceridian from Vice Media, where she served as Chief Human Resources Officer since 2017. She has also worked for the National Basketball Association, Disney, and Starbucks in Asia.

“Susan is a highly accomplished and inclusive CHRO with a proven track record of driving organizational transformation with some of the world’s top brands,” said Leagh Turner, President and Chief Operating Officer (CEO) at Ceridian. “She is a strategic leader who brings a global perspective and deep human resource expertise to the role. Her leadership will be invaluable to Ceridian and our customers as we continue to dominate the Intelligent HCM space globally.”

Auxadi Presents Coronavirus Labour and Tax Guide

Auxadi, a global corporate management services provider including accounting, tax, and payroll-related services, announced that it is releasing a guide in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic to help companies worldwide navigate labour and tax compliance updates.

The guide is titled COVID-19: A Global Crisis. Summary of the Tax & Labor Measures in +30 Countries in Europe and Americas.

Auxadi will analyze the most important measures being taken around the world by the major economies in labor and fiscal matters. From tax relief to working from home to more complicated updates that impact employees, there have been a number of measures instated to ensure that employees and employers alike are protected.

SAP Establishes €3 Million COVID-19 Emergency Fund

SAP SE, a provider of cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, announced it has established a €3 Million COVID-19 Emergency Fund to support the urgent needs of the World Health Organization (WHO), the CDC Foundation, and smaller nonprofits and social enterprises that work on the front lines serving local communities in crisis.

Along with the emergency fund, SAP has activated a COVID-19 response plan, SAP Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, to provide infrastructure and accelerate new ways to engage through virtual volunteering and pro-bono consulting, offering more than 50 projects to date.

“SAP stands with the WHO and supports its leadership in coordinating the global effort to mobilize the fight against COVID-19,” said Alexandra van der Ploeg, Head of SAP CSR. “Specifically, SAP is donating €1 million to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the WHO hosted by Swill Philanthropy Foundation and the United Nations Foundation for virus prevention and detection.”
