Industry developments from the global payroll vendor and research community.

World Wide Technology Turns to ADP for HR Processes

To keep up with rapid growth, World Wide Technology (WWT) has implemented ADP Vantage HCM and ADP Streamline.

Prior to ADP, WWT was using multiple vendors to fulfill its HCM needs, which led to limited visibility into its workforce data, the company said. WWT Vice President of Global Human Resources Ann Marr said the company is implementing new systems in order to handle approximately 4,500 new employees within the next five years.

“We knew the old systems we had in place wouldn’t be able to handle more employees and we’d end up hiring more people to do processes that could easily be automated,” Marr said. “With ADP, we’ll be able to eliminate manual processes and dual data entry, which will save time, reduce errors, and increase efficiencies. Right now, we’re still using spreadsheets in some countries, so we’re thrilled ADP will help us consolidate processes across the globe. Now that we have a fully integrated HCM solution where our payroll, HR, benefits, and recruiting data talks to each other, we’ll have a complete picture of our entire workforce worldwide.”

Neeyamo Positioned as 'Leader' for Next Generation Payroll Services

Neeyamo has been recognized by NelsonHall, a global business and IT services analyst firm, as a “Leader” in its Next Generation of Payroll Services.

Using the NelsonHall Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT), the firm evaluated 22 vendors on two key parameters: The ability to deliver immediate benefits to customers and the ability to meet clients’ future requirements. Neeyamo was identified due to its scores from the assessment and feedback derived from its customers.

“We are elated with the acknowledgment from NelsonHall,” said Samuel Isaac, Vice President of Strategy at Neeyamo. “Neeyamo is invested in expanding its global reach to comply with the growing need among multi-national organizations to support their employees in the long-tail region. With the ‘Global Payroll Hyperloop’ framework in place, we intend to set newer benchmarks in innovation and technology.”

Activpayroll Expands With New Australian Office

Activpayroll, a global payroll and tax compliance specialist headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, announced the launch of its new Australian office located in Perth.

According to the company, the Perth office will increase activpayroll’s ability to service new and existing customers in Australia and New Zealand, as well as continue its “follow the sun” support service, providing global customers with 24/7 access and assistance.

Alison Sellar, CEO of activpayroll, said the new entity in Australia has considerable potential for growth in as little as six to 12 months.

“As we continue to grow and more multi-national organizations recognize the strength of our industry-leading expertise and advanced technology, we agreed that a new local base in Australia was required,” Sellar said. “These new premises provide the facilities we need to grow our local team further while continuing our mission to deliver world-class global payroll services.”
