Find Tech Innovation at Next Payroll Solutions Showcase

PSS
By Kiko Martinez

Discover the future of pay with the American Payroll Association (APA) and the Global Payroll Management Institute (GPMI) at the 3rd Annual Payroll Solutions Showcase (PSS) 2-3 March, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET or 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. GMT.

PSS is a free, virtual event geared to U.S. and global payroll industry service providers and companies with payroll and HR technology needs. It’s an event you and your team won’t want to miss. At PSS, companies can seek innovative payroll-related solutions for their specific U.S. and global payroll issues by watching product demos, reviewing case studies, and utilizing product user-interface sessions. Global payroll professionals and their companies will also have the opportunity to reach prospective buyers.

“I love that all the resources are in one place,” said Melissa Brown, CPP, Payroll Administrator at Avista, an energy company in Spokane, Washington, who attended last year’s virtual event. “It was a wonderful way to network.”

The event, which will be made available on demand through 31 October brings audiences and vendors from the APA and GPMI together to offer attendees a way to streamline their evaluation process and make educated purchasing decisions for their organizations.

“In its third year, [PSS] continues to give global leaders in the payroll and HR industry an effective way to take an in-depth look at products and compare the ones they like best,” said Dan Maddux, Executive Director of APA and President of GPMI. “It’s the payroll industry’s virtual, one-stop-shop to canvas the market for innovation.”

Participants can earn up to four RCHs when they attend panel discussions during PSS. In the past, Maddux has described PSS as “unlike anything the APA or GPMI has ever produced.”

PSS_InsideChristine Curl, the Payroll Manager of the National Hot Rod Association in Glendora, California, was impressed last year that even if she was unable to attend all the sessions she wanted, she still had a few months to catch the ones she missed on demand.

“I loved this format,” Curl said. “It makes it easy for a busy professional to [participate live] and then [participate] on demand later, so they can get all the parts they may have missed if they were pulled away.”

There were many more comments from attendees last year about the benefits of PSS. Elizabeth Rodriguez, Payroll Manager at SCO Family of Services in Glen Cove, New York, said that PSS offers “tools that payroll pros need [but aren’t] easily accessible.” Charmaine Davis-Chung, CPP, Payroll Manager at NICE Systems, Inc., in Mount Vernon, New York, said she benefited from an event that packed plenty of substance into two days. “I learned a lot, and there was a great deal of information shared,” she said. “I really enjoyed it.”

During PSS, the APA and GPMI will also hold the Showcase Standout Awards to recognize the best product demonstrations featured during the event. Winners are voted on by attendees. Last year’s Best Overall Demo was awarded to Immedis. This year’s winners will be announced at the 41st Annual Payroll Congress taking place from 16-19 May at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Denver.

PSS is right around the corner, so register for the free event today.
