U.K. County Council Renews Agreement With Rimini Street
Rimini Street, Inc., a global provider of enterprise software products and services, announced that U.K. local authority Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) has renewed its agreement with Rimini Street for support of its SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP Business Objects software.
Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, Rimini Street is a global provider of enterprise software support products and services. Rimini Street will support Nottinghamshire’s core business applications to ensure no disruption to critical services such as payroll for employees and protection services for young children.
NCC serves a population of approximately 828,000 with around 400 adult and child services. It also runs payroll for between 35,000-38,000 pensioners and pays its 7,000 staff, a complex task due to the different ways staff is paid. According to the company, Rimini Street’s tax, legal and regulatory support services help ensure on-time pay awards, tax table changes, and system updates are made with minimal disruption.

IRIS Software Group Acquires Senta
IRIS Software Group (IRIS), a U.K. software company, has acquired Senta, the cloud-based practice management software for accountants and bookkeepers. The software will be integrated into IRIS Elements, the SaaS platform designed by customers that allows them to move to the cloud at their own pace.
Kevin Dady, Executive Chairman of IRIS, said the move is critical as the U.K. grapples with its third lockdown and businesses around the globe are using cloud applications to simplify mission critical business tasks.

HERE Partners With Ramco Systems
