CURO Expands Compensation Management, Pay Equity in Asia-Pacific

CURO Compensation Limited (CURO), a provider in total compensation management and pay equity technology, opted to make its compensation management and pay equity software solutions available in AWS Sydney to support its ongoing expansion across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Data legislation in APAC, and more specifically, Australia, differs from other parts of the world. With tighter restrictions on where client data sits, from the Privacy Act of 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles, many organizations, according to the company, look for providers capable of delivering onshore storage for the purpose of risk mitigation and protection from future legislation or foreign intervention, as well as faster performance and lower latency. The company says that having achieved SOC 2 Type II and FSQS accreditation, CURO’s software solutions, including compensation management, meet the highest standards set for managing the complexity of third- and fourth-party information.

“Noting an increase in APAC interest and opportunities, CURO invested in building out our team to ensure optimal service provision for our regional clients,” said Gerry O’Neill, CURO co-founder and CEO. “Given the specific needs of organizations operating in Australia, we sought to make our compensation management and pay equity solutions available through AWS Sydney to support this base further. We’re excited to continue this growth, helping APAC employers stay compliant, make informed pay decisions and drive equitable outcomes.”

Immedis Launches Automated Solution to Streamline International Payment Delivery

Immedis, a provider of consolidated global payroll solutions, announced the launch of Immedis Pay, an automated solution for organizations to manage cross-border payments to their beneficiaries, including employees, tax authorities, and statutory third parties.

Immedis Pay, according to the company, streamlines global payments processing with end-to-end automation across the entire payment process. The automation efficiencies delivered by Immedis Pay save organizations time, reduce costs, and risks, improve the employees’ experience, and ensure all beneficiaries are paid accurately and on time in more than 200 countries and 145 currencies, according to the company.

“Managing global payments is extraordinarily complex and prone to error due to the fragmented manual processes across many touchpoints that most organizations use today,” said Richard Limpkin, Chief Product Officer at Immedis. “This not only causes delays and raises costs, but also exposes organizations and their employees to the risks associated with fraud, security breaches, and compliance violations. We created Immedis Pay to solve these problems and we’re thrilled to announce it’s now available to the market.”
